Natural DIY Homemade Perfumes
Very often, perfumes for women come with massive price tags. However, if you use natural essential oils, you can potentially create your own perfume and customize your unique fragrance. Here are some natural homemade DIY perfumes you can try out at home:
Perfume with essential oils
Ingredients required:
- Take an empty and a new perfume bottle, which has funnels and two lids.
- Use your favorite essential oil to customize and create your own fragrance. Use a carrier oil such as jojoba oil, fractionated coconut oil , avocado oil, or apricot kernel oil.
How to prepare:
Fill half of your perfume bottle with the carrier oil of your choice, as you will have enough space to add your favorite scented oil to modify the fragrance. Once you’ve added the essential oils of your choice, all you need to do is give the bottle a good shake.

Perfume with herbal ingredients
Ingredients required:
- 1 opaque perfume bottle
- 15-20 drops of essential oils like Sandalwood, Ylang Ylang, Vetiver, Vanilla, or Cedarwood
- Around 30 drops of oil that contain middle notes like Geranium, Lavender, Rose or Chamomile
- Around 30 drops of oils that contain top notes like Neroli, Wild Orange, and Bergamot
- About 4 ounces of alcohol that is used to meld and preserve the fragrances
How to prepare:
Take an opaque bottle and mix all the ingredients in it, except the alcohol. Add the alcohol towards the end. Make sure the bottle is closed and shake it well. Let the mixture remain for 30 days in a dark room where the temperature is low.
Citrus designer perfume
Ingredients required:
- 12 grams of almond oil for the base
- 20 drops of lavender essential oil
- 6 drops of rosemary essential oil
- 4 drops of lemongrass essential oil
- 3 grams of beeswax.
How to prepare:
To prepare this perfume, melt the beeswax and almond oil over a low flame. Let the mixture cool down before you add the essential oils. Mix it well and fill it in the perfume bottles.
