Aloe vera
Aloe vera stimulates the growth of new skin cells as it is a rich source of polysaccharides. Aloe vera has anti-inflammatory properties , and fights skin pigmentation and keeps your skin smooth. Just scoop some gel from a fresh aloe leaf and generously apply it all over your face. Leave it until dry and rinse it with cool water. Many good aloe gels are also available in the market to find a gel with limited chemicals and preservatives.
Lemon juice
Lemon is a rich source of Vitamin C and has bleaching properties. It prevents skin blemishes as it kills the acne-causing bacteria, thanks to its acidic nature. It also controls oil production, which is why people with dry skin should take precautions before applying it. Squeeze a fresh lemon into a bowl, dip a cotton ball and dab it on the affected area. Leave it for 10 minutes and wash with water.
Tomatoes
Tomatoes are great for fighting skin blemishes as they are rich in antioxidants, Vitamin C and also act as an astringent. Lycopene present in tomatoes effectively treats suntan. Take some tomato pulp and massage your skin for 5 to 10 minutes and rinse with cool water. It is better you do a patch test before applying anything citrus on your face.

Almonds
Almonds are a great way to treat skin blemishes as they are rich in Vitamin E and fatty acids. Almonds are also known for their bleaching properties. Go for pure almond oil and apply it directly on the affected area, after washing it clean. You can also use it generously over the face and neck for smooth, supple skin. Leave it overnight or for an hour and wipe it clean with a soft cloth or cotton. You can also make an almond paste and apply directly. Soak 6 to 8 almonds overnight. Next morning, remove the skin, make a smooth paste, and apply. You can also add milk to the paste, which makes an excellent moisturizer. Keep it for 20 minutes and wash with lukewarm water.
Papaya
The enzyme papain present in papaya aids in cleansing the pores and prevents acne. You can make a nice face pack, all you need is a ripe papaya and mash it thoroughly. Apply this pack generously to your face and neck. Leave it for about 20 to 30 minutes and wash with lukewarm water.
