5 Low Fat Cookie Recipes

Paleo choco-chip cookies
Ingredients required :
- 2 cups of almond flour
- ¼ tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ¼ cup each of almond butter and regular butter at room temperature
- 1 cup of less sweetened choco-chips
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 2 tbsp organic honey
How to prepare:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with a parchment paper. In a large bowl, whisk together almond flour, baking soda, and salt. Using a hand mixer, add regular butter, almond butter, honey, egg, and vanilla and mix until the ingredients combine well. Fold in chocolate chips, then add tablespoons of batter to a prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle cookies with flaky sea salt. Bake until edges are golden, 13 to 15 minutes.

Zucchini Choco-chip cookies
Ingredients required :
- 1½ cup of all-purpose flour
- ¼ tsp each baking soda, salt and ground cinnamon
- ½ cup each of granulated sugar and brown sugar
- 5 tbsp soft butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup each of semi-sweet choco-chips, grated zucchini, and oats
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- ¼ cup plain yogurt
- 1 cup almond meal
How to prepare :
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl, whisk together flour, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon. Then take a large bowl, beat together sugars and butter until light and fluffy. Add egg, yogurt, and vanilla and mix until evenly combined. Fold in semi-sweet choco-chips, grated zucchini, and oats. Add tablespoons of batter to a prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
Low-fat oatmeal cookies
Ingredients required :
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp each baking soda, kosher salt, and baking powder
- ¼ cup each whole flaxseed and flaxseed meal
- 1 cup each of white and brown sugar
- 2 sticks unsalted butter
- 2 tsp vanilla essence
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup raisins
- 3 cups rolled oats
How to prepare :
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, flaxseed meal, baking soda, baking powder, and kosher salt. In a separate bowl, mix the butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla, manually or with a hand mixer. Beat until the mixture is fluffy. Combine the two mixtures, stirring until the flour is fully incorporated, then add the oats, raisins, and flax seeds. Mix well, but don’t over mix. Scoop out tablespoons of cookie dough, and place them 2 inches apart on the baking sheet. Bake for 11-14 minutes.
Detox cookies
Ingredients required :
- 1½ cups pureed bananas
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- ½ cup peanut butter or almond butter
- Coarse sea salt for garnish
How to prepare :
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients and blend it with a fork. Add tablespoons of batter to a prepared baking sheet and sprinkle it with sea salt. Bake for 10-15 minutes.
Paleo carrot cake cookies
Ingredients required :
- ½ cup shredded coconut
- 2 cups almond meal
- ½ tsp each baking powder, baking soda, and kosher salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup each of coconut oil and maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- ¾ cup shredded carrots (squeezed)
How to prepare :
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, m ix the coconut, cinnamon, almond meal, baking powder, soda, and salt. In a small bowl, whisk the maple syrup, coconut oil, egg, and vanilla. Mix both mixtures and fold in shredded carrots. Bake for 12 minutes.
