3 Healthy New Ways to Eat Cauliflower Crust

It is one of the most versatile ingredients you can use and makes your food look lighter, tastier and healthier. High in vitamin C, cauliflower is adored by epicures of all age alike.
Cauliflower Crust Grilled Cheese
Ingredients required:
- Cauliflower head
- Organic head
- Mozzarella cheese
- Fine grain salt
- Black pepper
- Cheddar cheese
- Butter
How to prepare:
Cut the cauliflower crust into bread slices. Preheat the microwave to 450-degree F. Keep the rack in the middle rung. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper. Grease it with extra virgin olive oil. Chop the cauliflower in a food processor. Transfer 3 cups of cauliflower rice into the oven and microwave for 8 minutes unless it gets cooked. Squeeze moisture from the cauliflower using a dishcloth or tea towel. The dried cauliflower has to be used as bread slices, and hence drying is necessary. Now transfer the cauliflower to a large bowl. Add 1 organic egg, half a cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, salt and pepper, and mix everything well. Add the cauliflower mixture on the lined baking sheet into 4 different squares. Bake them in the placed oven for 16 minutes, unless they turn golden. Cool it for 10 minutes, remove the parchment paper, and serve.
Cauliflower Tortillas
Ingredients required:
- Cauliflower
- Eggs
- Fresh cilantro
- Lime juice
- Salt
- Pepper
How to prepare:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line the baking sheet with a parchment paper. Cut the cauliflower into small pieces and pulse it in a food processor. Put the finely riced cauliflower into 2 packed cups. Microwave the cauliflower for 2 minutes. Stir and microwave again for another 2 minutes. Squeeze the liquid out of the cauliflower to ensure it is dry using a fine cheesecloth or dishtowel. Whisk 2 large eggs in a bowl. Add the cauliflower, quarter-cup freshly chopped cilantro, juice from a half lime, salt and pepper according to taste, and mix well. Shape it into 6 small tortillas on the parchment paper. Bake the tortillas for 10 minutes. Flip carefully and bake for additional 6 minutes. Cool them slightly. Heat a large skillet and put the tortillas to turn brown for 2-3 minutes. Serve with delight.
Zucchini and Ricotta Tart with Cauliflower Crust
Ingredients required:
- Cauliflower
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Eggs
- Salt
- Zucchini
- Cherry Tomatoes
- Ricotta cheese
How to prepare:
Cut one head of cauliflower into florets. Pulse the florets in a food processor. Then steam the cauliflower rice in a steam basket for 5 minutes unless they turn soft. Discard excess liquid by pouring out the moisture using a cheese towel or clean kitchen towel. Add the cauliflower to a large bowl. Mix half a cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, 2 beaten eggs, and one teaspoon. Take a large rimmed baking sheet and line it with parchment paper. Spread the cauliflower crust into a 1-inch thick rectangle. Bake them at 400-degrees F unless they turn golden brown for 15-20 minutes. Spread the baked cauliflower with 1 cup of ricotta cheese. Top the crust with sliced zucchini and cherry tomatoes. Shower some olive oil and salt. Put the tart back in oven and bake for another 15-20 minutes. Garnish with herbs and serve.
